Here we are again...
Well it's Monday night, and I'm just back from the hospital ... and no before you all worry - I was visiting. My mate Sean from church was playing football on Friday night and broke his knee in a challenge - not his kneecap, but his knee. So he's laid up in a hospital bed at the mo. The operation is in the morning, then it'll be 3-4 mths recovery before he can go back to work! and I think his aspirations to play football professionally have gone up in smoke (joke)!
Work's not bad at the mo - off to Liverpool tomorrow for a 3pm meeting...
The church decided against buying the chairs - mentioned in an earlier posting - oh well - gonna have to sit on the pews for a while longer.
My jacket should be on it's way shortly - there's been a request for a pic of me wearing it - must be from one of my fans! Well if you're good I'll see what I can do!
Just pigging out on Tesco's double choc chip cookies - my hospitalised mate gave me them as he's nil by mouth! there were 5 cookies ...
Do the same rules apply? We get told not to eat with our mouths full - what about typing a blog with your mouth full?

I'm tired...
I am sooooo tired at the moment ... and my throats giving me grief ... I don't know about you, but do you find you have a weak point on your body? Mine's my throat - without fail I'll get an annual sore throat - does my head in!
Anyway I was at my desk at 7.20 this morning as we went to a Macromedia Studio product launch at the Lowry Hotel (v.posh!) - was quite good - managed to get a nice notebook, keyring, packet of mints, and the obligatory pen out of it!
Had my development review at work - looks like I'll be going on quite a few courses over the coming months ... not sure if thats good or bad yet ... I'll let you know!
Off to bed shortly as I need to catch up some ZZZZZZZZ's - at least I can have a lie in in the morning ... not starting work until 10 :)

I knew I was going to say something ... Ebay ... it's just full of stuff you don't really want ... don't really need ... yet you still bid ... and you still end up buying stuff you don't really need ...
Erm ... like a "1970s VINTAGE TUXEDO RAY CHARLES PSYCHEDELIC ROCKSTAR" jacket.
That's what happens when you go online at midnight 'just for a look!' and bid thinking that someone else will come in and beat you ... and it doesn't happen ... and you find that you've just bought a jacket.
Ho hum - sending the cheque off in the morning - and we'll see when it arrives ... if you're lucky I might even model it for you!

What's on my mind?
I know, I know, I've been a bit quiet for a couple of days...and no it's not because there's been nothing on my mind...the complete opposite really. I've found my mind churning over with all sorts of stuff the last few days ... from disappointment when plans fell through ... uncertainty of the future at work ... the famous 'pews v chairs' debate at Church (that one should resolve itself within the week...I'll tell more once I can!)
Looks like there's going to be a big restructure at work - well at least within our division. I've no idea how it'll affect me, where I'll end up, and yes it's somewhat unsettling, but God's guided me every step of the way with my career and he won't fail me now, so all I can do is trust Him.
I got to spend Saturday evening with my friends from In Yer Face (see Links) - in fact if I'#d arrived 10 mins earlier I would have been acting with them! They really are the best in Christian Theatre - I know I'm biased - but they are!
You know when you just feel troubled, but can't put your finger quite on what it is? Perhaps it's just a combination of things, work, friends going through stressful times, people you know who are ill - just found out a lady I know is in hospital with her heart - which isn't good.
I've got a development review at work tomorrow 'how do I see my development taking shape over the next 12 months?' - I've no idea - got to get something down in writing tonight so I'll cut the waffle.
It's strange, chances are that no-one may actually read this, but it's a cathartic experience getting it down in writing...
