More Stuff

It's been a wee while since I posted on here ... most of my stuff has moved to http://www.myspace.com/petrovsplace but thought I'd copy some stuff on ere in case there's anyone out there!

Had an awesome time at the Keswick Convention this year - I was back working with ICC recording the meetings/seminars. Can't believe it was only last Saturday when I came home ... seems much longer ... funny how that happens sometimes ...time seems to stand still ... and on other occasions it flies by that fast that you've blinked and you missed it.

2 weeks in Keswick were amazing - had some seriously mixed weather ... but was reacquainted with some true friends ... and met some top quality new people. Found a second home in Rumours ... next year - we may just have to show the keswick karaoke kings and queens how it's done!

Came back feeling understandably flat ... missing people, and places etc. The hard realities of work soon brought me back to earth with a bump!

Met up with one of my mates from Church one evening - he'd been at New Wine and lent me a couple of CD's of seminars on Worship ... if I'm honest, they blew me away (which wasn't good - as I was drivin down the M62 at the time). Gave me a lot to think about - reminded me of the responsible and privelidged position I'm in ... came away feeling challenged, humbled, and a bit overwhelmed.

Really need to listen to it again with a pen and paper this time ...

Gonna have a scan of the Greenbelt seminars and see what interesting topics I can find ...
